So if you havn't been living under a rock, we have Winter Veil now to deal with in game. The Dwarves in Ironforge have been busy wrapping gifts for us all, making gingerbread cookies for Greatfather Winter and cleaning up all the reindeer poop lying around.
Remember, there's no presents to open until the 24th- so no throwing hissy fits in trade chat about how you can't get the gifts from under the tree!
Fiorra on the other hand, is trying to get her Merrymaker title and failing miserably. I cannot seem to find where to get the bombing achievement, HK's seem impossible in my battlegroup as there are no Wintervolt machines inside the battleground. (Have you ever tried PvP'ing as a healer? The Horde flock towards you with this ravenous look in their eyes like you're a tasty steak...) And the hat? HA. I've not even seen it drop yet, which is weird because it dropped a lot for me last year when I was running my druid. Have to say I like the Preserved Holly though, riding round on a reindeer is pretty win, in my book. Hopefully by the end of the holiday, I will have the title and I can rest again until the Elder festival...which is also half complete. Sigh.

The hats are on the same 3 bosses they were on last year: Mage-Lord Urom (Oculus), Grand Magus Telestra (Nexus), and Jedoga Shadowseeker (Ahn'Kahet). Don't rely on random chance, go get a 100% drop hat. :D
Also:
* The bombing achievement is in Blade's Edge Mountains, on the northwest side (or southwest, if you prefer - one of the two demon camps). However, if you're not to the point where you can get the Ogri'la and Skyguard dailies, you need to do that first. Once you've picked it up, fly to the south of the questgiver and look for the big red arrows like Hunter's Marks pointing at piles of ammo. Oh, and keep moving - they WILL shoot you out of the air if you hover.
* No, there are no transformer machines inside the BGs, and this is a source of non-stop annoyance to me.
